Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded professional to join our team as the Director of Finance. In this pivotal role, you will lead the financial strategy of the organization and all sub-division.

This key role involves shaping long-term financial plans, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and collaborating with executive and divisional teams for sustainable growth.

Duties & responsibilities:

•  Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the overall business objectives of the organization and all divisions.

• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts.

• Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities; implement effective risk management strategies.

• Conduct monthly, quarterly and annual reporting 

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.

• Work closely with divisional finance teams to align financial objectives with overall business goals.

• Evaluate potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions, providing financial insights and recommendations.

• Conduct financial due diligence aspects of potential business ventures.

• Communication to banks & lenders

• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure optimal liquidity for all divisions.

• Implement strategies to optimize working capital

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CFA, CPA) is a plus.

• Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, ideally within the fashion and real estate industries.

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a track record of successful financial management.

• Knowledge of international financial regulations and compliance standards.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across divisions and with executive leadership

• Attention to detail, with the ability to anticipate problems and find solutions proactively

• Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment

• Proficiency in MS Office
